Meet the new owners of Huddle Up Creative!

A new era is here for huddle up creative!

After 12 months in the making, it’s official… Huddle Up Creative has new owners! When Melinda Cahill started Huddle Up in 2015, she set out to lead the way with Strategy, Branding and Marketing Automation. Lead the way she did.

Huddle Up has created a strong footprint and now it’s time for Ben Vowles and Emma Burdett to take over the reins and carry the legacy forward.

To mark the occasion, here is a short video message from Melinda, Ben and Emma.

But wait – who is Ben Vowles?

Automation Expert, Website Guru and all round great guy, Ben has been a driving force for the Huddle Team since early 2020. Ben started his entrepreneurial journey at the ripe old age of 14 selling Cadbury chocolates to the students in line for school buses and had three part- time employees on commission.

Over the years Ben started and grew a substantial lawn mowing business, helped manage a bike store, then moved on to create a web design business because he knew that was one of the biggest pain points for business owners. That’s when he met Melinda and joined forces with the Huddle Up Creative team.

Ben’s sense of calm and tenacity is the best thing to have in your corner! There is nothing Ben can’t work out or achieve when he puts his mind to it.

When he’s not building complex funnels, you’ll find Ben challenging himself on a mountain bike, competing in a half Iron Man or dreaming of jumping out of planes.

Who is Emma Burdett, you ask?

A business strategist by trade, creative soul by nature and part mermaid.

Emma has always had a passion for coaching, business and the underwater world. When working as a barista during her Strategic Management degree in NZ, she had her first business card and logo made for Emma Jean Coffee Training – private lessons for people to learn how to use their home coffee machines. She knew she had ‘made it’ when her business cards were placed on top of the display machines at Harvey Norman in a very small town.

Over the last couple of decades, Emma has established the Uni Scuba Club, been a Business Banking Manager reviewing business plans to lend for growth, managed a brick & mortar dive shop, created an online course for Underwater Photography, studied Graphic Design, joined the management team for the Future Female Leaders Program and is about to launch Australia’s ultimate online shopping experience for high-end dive gear.

Emma is often asked how she juggles it all – she will tell you at the heart of all business is marketing … and that’s what Emma specialises in. Since starting 23 Fathoms Marketing in 2019, Emma and her team have helped many businesses along the way and are thrilled to be flying under the Huddle Up Creative banner now!

What can you expect from Huddle Up Creative moving forward?

There are some exciting things in the pipeline for Huddle Up! You may have already noticed a new brand look to incorporate the sense of adventure both Ben and Emma bring to Huddle Up.

Our services have expanded with the merger with 23 Fathoms Marketing and our team is growing! Now, it’s time to make some waves.

Thank you for joining us on this journey!
